Simona Colucci

She holds a PhD in Territorial Planning and Public Territorial Policies from IUAV University in Venice. In 2009, with aste&nodi, she took her first steps into the field by promoting local development initiatives in the interior Cilento region. Since 2011 she has dealt with urban regeneration and participative processes and has worked as a consultant for public administrations and the third sector.

Over the last years, her research interests have focused on interpreting migration phenomena at a local level through the gaze of urban policies and on how the reception system allows for building social and territorial relationships by those inhabiting it.

She is a Asnada member and a volunteer at L’Isola del tesoro, an experimental Italian language school for teenagers.

She has been a partner of Codici since 2021, where she works as a researcher, supervisor, and evaluator on social and territorial topics.
